While investigating my stoplight odds I found out a few interesting tidbits about the badging on the 2015 Mustang. Here is a brief pictorial:
A V6, 3.7L with a base price of $23,xxx has a horse on front, horse on back with background stripes, nothing on the side.
The Ecoboost model has 2.3L engine and a base price of $25,xxx. Horse on front and back, nothing on the side.
The 5.0 GT has a horse on the front with a grill different from the first two, GT on the back, and a delightful 5.0 on the side. Base is $32,xxx. It’s badging and horsepower remains the same in the premium version.
Opting for the anniversary package does not change the horse power options as the 5.0s have 435 nice little horses. However, it does alter the base which is $40,xxx. Notice the metal across the front, and GT 50 YEARS on the back.
There are definitely 2015 Mustangs that I should shy away from at the light, but the chances of seeing one anytime soon is pretty slim. Here is a very cool Rocket with 725HP!
Please provide comments/additional information on the badging of the 2015 Mustang.
Nice investigation work. 🙂
I do like the one-off Apollo edition. I need that car in my life. 🙂

Time to build a bigger garage. Perhaps it can overtake a bit of the gardening area! LOL 🙂
