What’s the difference in a door ding and a lawn job? Why is it you think I’m silly, strange or overboard because I want to park my car away from everyone else? If I get a crease in my door because some kook doesn’t give a darn when he opens his door that means time off work, and a costly insurance deductible. If something happens to your flower bed, you buy more seeds, sod, fertilizer.
I detail, you weed. I wash, you water. I go to car shows, you go to lawn and garden shows. I can appreciate how much you love your hobby and would just like the same consideration. I would never give you a lawn job…the dirt would stick to the ArmorAll on my tires.
This post is not intended to make fun of gardeners. Its sole purpose is to show that we all have our hobbies and should appreciate them even if we don’t understand them. PS Quit making fun of me for loving my car and cars in general.

I’ve had a lot of hobbies, Excellent at none, Mine are mostly in the garage. not outside As long as we love what we do.
I love your passion on what you do.. no one is laughing.
I have dings on my car. Most self inflected, My carport is just too close to the garage.
I am always respectful of other park cars.

Like minds! It’s just happened to me so many times. The comments and confused smirks… Parking is an issue at my school and I don’t think everyone quite gets my focus on the end result of parking lot mishaps. I’m forced to park between two other cars, but the understanding folks try to frame me in to ease my anxiety. Okay I just realized this might be a new text book problem. LOL
