Car Cookies, A Stalker, and 20 Miles to the Gallon

Here are some random thoughts to end the week.

I guess it was around Tuesday, out doing errands, when I thought to myself, “why is everyone driving so slow?” Then I realized they were doing the speed limit.

At one of my stops this week, in search of all things perfect for BFF Yvonne’s birthday, I discovered that craft people really are awesome and come up with brilliant ideas. You know the kind that you konk yourself on the head and say, “I wish I would have thought about that.”

Here is a clever cookie product. The kit comes with cookie cutters in the shape of VW cars and wheels on which to stand the decorated cookie.  In true Nuessle fashion there must be a police car somewhere close behind.

At yet another stop this past week, the grocery store in particular, I became suspicious that I might have a secret admirer. What are the chances that another white car with red stripes would choose to park sooooo far from the entrance? Opinions welcome on ‘who does it best’.

On Friday I drove out to my brother and sister-in-law’s house to drop off a CD (you don’t call them mixed tapes anymore, so what do you call them?) that I had made for them. It’s all about the drive!

Finally, as I was coming home from Yvonne’s this morning, traveling down my favorite 61/67, the dash was relaying ever-changing information. Much to my delight my little beast mustered its way up to 20 MPG. Hooray for mediocre gas mileage in a muscle car!

I guess that’s about as random as it gets!

  1. As for the stripes I am bias but they do look better on the Muzzy. The mix tapes were cd’s but now many cars have the ipod port or as I have a USB port where I plug in a pen drive with as much music as I can handle. Drag and drop from the pc. So simple to change. As for 20mpg from your beast that ain’t bad at all. Remember though, it’s not miles per gallon it’s SMILES per gallon.

You are so right about the USB ports. Not sure if my brother’s truck has one. If it were just for me I could hook my iPod into port. But the old-fashioned CD in a Case makes it a bit more of a gift. And as always, the smiles are plentiful when you drive a Mustang!
